[CLOSED] We’re Hiring! | Program Associate & Community Health Worker Opportunities

The Prince George’s County Food Equity Council is hiring new program staff. The Prince George’s County Food Equity Council (FEC) is a food policy council housed within the Institute for Public Health Innovation (IPHI). Over the past eight years, we’ve made impressive strides in local food system policy change including passing the nation’s first comprehensive healthy kids meal bill and building one of the region’s most significant urban farming communities. The COVID-19 pandemic profoundly changed our work and we have since expanded into programming, including launching the Prince George’s County Food Rescue program and a food-is-medicine program, Prince George’s Fresh.

We’re seeking two new team members who are dynamic, mission-driven, and equity-minded. Members of our team get exposure to all aspects of FEC’s programming and we are committed to crafting work plans that advance each team member’s professional goals and interests. Our incubating non-profit,  IPHI offers a flexible work environment and competitive benefits package.
