In the spring of 2021, the Prince George's County Food Equity Council partnered with Washington Gas to purchase three cold storage trailers for food assistance providers. The new trailers were an opportunity to support immediate and long-term food security needs that arose during the pandemic. The trailers are now operating at each of the selected community sites in Lanham, Landover, and Brandywine.
