SNAP Assistance:

Call Maryland Hunger Solutions at 866-821-5552 for assistance and questions related to SNAP applications. They can assist with completing and submitting SNAP applications over the phone, submit any changes to your active SNAP case, answer questions about your benefits, and direct you to additional food resources.

Online SNAP Grocery Orders:

From May 28, 2020, Amazon, Shoprite, and Walmart have been accepting SNAP EBT payments for online orders (excluding delivery fees). View additional information here: Maryland Department of Human Services Online SNAP Flyer.

Pandemic Electronic Benefit Transfer (P-EBT): 

P-EBT provides nutrition assistance to families whose children have lost access to free or reduced-price school meals due to COVID-19 related school closures. Families will receive money on a new or existing EBT card to help make up for these lost meals. If you qualify, you will receive $5.70 per child for each school day that your child’s school is closed due to the pandemic. This is available to families regardless of immigration status. Special SNAP and P-EBT Matching 

Crossroads-Farmers Market is providing $50 SNAP and EBT matching through August 2020. The Crossroads Farmers Market is held every Wednesday from 11 AM - 3 PM at St. Annes St. and University Blvd. in Takoma Park. Please see the English and Spanish flyers for information.
